Who Am I?
I’m just a normal 20 something guy who enjoys experimenting with new technology, playing sports, reading books, watching films, and trying to keep up-to-date with what’s going on in the world.
Bit More Detail…
A born and bred Highlander of Scotland, I spent my childhood running loose around the town of Cromarty, building bases in the woods and playing football at the park. At school I excelled in business, while at home I was better than most with technology. After school I went to The University of Stirling for four years and graduated in International Business with honours. I then moved back to Inverness for a year and carried out a business internship with a digital/media research.
I now live with my wife Sarah in the south of England and work for an internet software company called Sitekit. Although I’m more likely to be at the pub with a beer, than building bases in the woods, I still enjoy technology, and still work hard in business. This site is about that and everything that comes with it.
Why is the site called Farlie?
Farlie is an old nickname from school. When I first started this website seven years ago I was still called Farlie and it seemed like a good name for a website. All these years later, I still don’t have the heart to rename the site.
What Do I Write About?
My interests are varied, but over time I’ve started to favour writing about technology and review on books and films.
